About Us:
ESF is a private, non-profit organization that raises funds to provide grants to the epilepsy organizations in West Central Florida for medical and other support services. It is a 501 ©3 corporation and was incorporated in the State of Florida on May 4, 1973. The ESF State of Florida corporation document number is 726327.
ESF also raises funds to provide three kinds of scholarships: camp scholarships to attend Camp Boggy Creek for kids with epilepsy, family retreat weekend scholarships for families of kids with epilepsy to attend the retreat at Camp Boggy Creek and a program for college/technical school scholarships for persons affected by epilepsy.
ESF funds seminars that promote new initiatives and partnerships in the field of epilepsy. The seminars must address health and wellness issues and a family centered care program with emphasis on the family forming valuable partnerships with healthcare professionals and community programs.
Men, women and children with epilepsy/seizure disorders and their families are the beneficiaries of ESF's fundraising program.

ESF's primary focus is the West Central Florida area with special emphasis on Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco , Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties.
A Board of Directors reviews and approves the programs and budget of ESF. The Board also evaluates and assesses progress in meeting its goals.
ESF has provided services in the Tampa Bay community for more than 36 years. Formerly the Gulf Coast Epilepsy Foundation and Epilepsy Foundation of West Central Florida, the ESF was founded in 1973.
